Non-illuminated letters fail visually when thickness varies across a wordmark, when CNC chatter shows on a serif, or when a painted edge chips after the first pressure wash. We treat edge quality and thickness tolerance as the product — not as a side effect of cutting sheet.

Letters are cut from specified gauge or solid stock, edges are sanded or ground before finishing, and depth is held consistent across the full set so a twenty-letter identity does not look assembled from three different jobs.

Where the sign sits against stone or timber, we ask for a photo or sample of the real surface before committing return colour and depth.

Flush stud mounts, standoff spacers, and through-bolt patterns are drawn against the actual substrate — drywall, stone, ACM, or curtainwall — so installers are not inventing anchors on the lift. We align hole centres with your millwork or stone shop drawings when those packages already exist.

What is the minimum order for non-illuminated dimensional signs?

There is no unit minimum — we quote single reception sets as readily as multi-site rollouts. Price efficiency comes from shared tooling and finish batches, so a one-off lobby mark is quoted on its own merits and a campus program is quoted with rollout pricing.

How long does production take?

Typical production is 10 to 20 days after artwork and finish are signed off, plus transit. Large letters, mirror-polished stainless, and colour-matched powder coats can add a few days; we give you a firm band with the quote.

Which materials work best outdoors?

For exterior exposure we typically recommend stainless steel or aluminium with powder coat or PVDF-level finishes, plus fasteners and sealants matched to the substrate and climate. Acrylic and some laminates suit protected or interior locations better; we advise based on the photo and exposure class you send.

Do you provide shop drawings and installation templates?

Yes. Every order includes dimensioned shop drawings with section details and mounting method for approval, then ships with a full-size paper installation template, a labelled hardware kit, and letters numbered to match the drawing.

Can you match our brand colour and font exactly?

Yes. Send outlined vector artwork plus RAL or Pantone references, and we match paint, powder, or laminate finishes to them. For critical colours we produce a physical chip or sample letter for approval before the full run.

Can you meet ADA or accessibility layout requirements?

When your accessibility consultant specifies contrast, tactile characters, or Braille, we build to those notes and coordinate mounting heights with your drawings. We do not replace an accessibility consultant — we fabricate to the rules they set.

How do you ship finished metal letters without damage?

Letters ship in purpose-built export crates with edge and face protection, palletised for your receiver's handling equipment. Manifests are labelled per crate, and we photograph packing states on request for retailer or campus compliance portals.

Can you work as an OEM supplier for our sign company?

Yes — a significant share of our volume is trade and wholesale work. We can ship white-labelled crates, supply drawing packs without our branding, and hold approved reference builds so your reorders stay consistent.
