Overview

ODM engagements begin with your industrial design intent — we propose substrates, LED classes, and assembly sequences that preserve brand silhouette while hitting landed cost targets.

Packaging can mirror your WMS labels, inner-carton logic, and pallet heights. We photograph packing states on request for retailer compliance portals.

Introduce engineering, QA, and logistics stakeholders early — we map approvals before tooling spends accelerate.

Revision-controlled BOMs that match your PO

Trade partners lose weeks when a factory substitutes LEDs, acrylic grades, or fasteners without a formal revision. We lock BOMs to your PO language — part numbers, finish codes, and electrical classes — and refuse silent swaps after golden-sample sign-off.

Engineering change requests are dated, versioned, and tied to the next lot. Your QA and purchasing teams get the same revision stamp we use on the floor, so customs and retailer portals see one story.

  • BOMs aligned to partner part numbers and PO wording
  • No silent material or LED substitutions after sample lock
  • Dated ECRs before any lot-level change
  • Shared revision stamps for QA, purchasing, and customs packs

Golden samples before volume spend

Tooling and container bookings should not race ahead of a signed sample. We build golden samples against the locked BOM — finish, illumination character, wiring exits, and packing state — then hold that unit as the lot reference until you authorize a revision.

Sample photos, measurement notes, and electrical checks travel with the approval pack so overseas stakeholders can sign without waiting for a second physical unit.

  • Golden sample against locked BOM and finish intent
  • Illumination, wiring, and packing state photographed
  • Physical unit retained as lot reference
  • Remote approval packs for multi-office sign-off

Lot traceability and serialized QC

When a field failure lands, you need the lot — not a guess. Drivers, modules, and assemblies carry lot or serial labels tied to QC checkpoints: burn-in duration, IP or Class 2 assumptions, and packing photos where your portal requires them.

Traceability language follows your warranty clause so claims map to a manufacturing window, not a vague shipment date.

  • Lot / serial labels on drivers and critical assemblies
  • Burn-in and QC checkpoints logged per lot
  • Packing-state photos for retailer or GC portals
  • Warranty mapping to manufacturing windows

Fabrication and aging that protect your brand face

Private-label signs leave under your name — uneven faces and early driver failures become your problem. We run CNC, bending, welding, and LED install against the golden sample, then age illuminated units on racks before crate.

Cosmetic and electrical spot checks use the same criteria your inspectors will apply. Non-conformances stop the lot; they do not get negotiated onto the next pallet.

  • Build sequences locked to golden-sample geometry
  • Illuminated aging racks before export pack
  • Cosmetic and electrical spot checks per lot
  • Non-conformances held — not shipped as exceptions

Export packing that mirrors your WMS

Landed cost fails when cartons do not match your warehouse scan logic. We can mirror inner-carton counts, pallet heights, and partner label fields — including photographed packing states for retailer compliance portals.

Manifests, HS-friendly descriptions, and crate marks follow the destination you name. Introduce logistics stakeholders early so label templates land before the first production lot.

  • Inner-carton and pallet logic matched to your WMS
  • Partner label fields and packing photos on request
  • Export manifests and crate marks for named destinations
  • Logistics templates locked before volume ship

Configurations

Choose the engagement model first

Private-label OEM, design-led ODM, and spare / VMI programs all need revision control and export paperwork — but they differ in who owns the silhouette, how samples lock, and how inventory sits between POs.

Private-label LED channel letters packed in foam-lined cartons ready for white-label wholesale shipping

Private-label OEM builds

You own the design and brand face; we manufacture to your drawings, BOM language, and packing rules. Builds stay identical across continents so your distributors and installers never see a shop-floor rewrite of the product.

Best for sign wholesalers, franchise programs, and brands needing repeatable private-label production

ODM design-to-manufacture

Share industrial design intent, brand silhouette, and landed-cost targets. We propose substrates, LED classes, and assembly sequences that preserve the look while surviving export duty and installer reality — then lock a golden sample before volume.

Best for product teams launching a new sign SKU or refining a silhouette for cost and compliance

Organized warehouse shelves of labeled spare LED drivers and modules for a vendor-managed inventory program

VMI & spare-driver programs

Hold agreed spare LED drivers, modules, and critical parts against forecast so field failures do not wait on a full remake. Inventory levels, lot codes, and reorder triggers follow your PO and warranty language.

Best for multi-site rollouts, service networks, and partners with ongoing warranty exposure

How your order moves through the factory

01

Scope & engagement model

Share drawings or design intent, target markets, PO language, and packing rules. You get OEM vs ODM vs VMI advice, a documentation outline, and a sample lead-time band — usually within a working day.

02

BOM lock & golden sample

Revision-controlled BOM, finish and electrical intent, then a golden sample with photo and measurement pack for multi-office sign-off before tooling or volume spend.

03

Produce, age & serialize

Build against the locked sample; aging racks; lot / serial QC; non-conformances held out of the shipment.

04

Pack, ship & hold spares

WMS-aligned cartons, manifests, packing photos, and optional VMI / spare-driver inventory against your forecast and warranty clause.

Buyer questions

What buyers ask before the first order

What is the difference between your OEM and ODM engagements?

OEM means you own the design and we manufacture to your drawings, BOM language, and packing rules. ODM starts from your industrial design intent — we propose substrates, LED classes, and assembly sequences, then lock a golden sample before volume. Many partners run both: ODM for a new SKU, OEM for repeat orders of the locked build.

How do you prevent silent part substitutions?

After golden-sample sign-off, the BOM is revision-controlled. Material, LED, or fastener changes require a dated ECR and your approval before the next lot. We do not substitute to clear inventory without a formal revision.

What is the minimum order for private-label OEM?

There is no fixed unit minimum — we quote pilots and volume bands separately. Price efficiency comes from shared tooling and lot size, so a small pilot is quoted on its own merits and a container program is quoted with volume pricing after sample lock.

How long do samples and volume take?

Typical golden samples take 10 to 18 days after BOM and finish intent are clear. Volume lead time is confirmed with the quote after sample lock and depends on complexity, electrical class, and packing rules. We give a firm band before you book freight.

Can packing match our WMS labels and carton logic?

Yes — share inner-carton counts, pallet heights, and label field requirements early. We can apply partner label templates and photograph packing states for retailer or GC compliance portals.

Do you offer spare-driver or VMI programs?

Yes — we can hold agreed spare drivers, modules, and critical parts against forecast, with lot codes aligned to your warranty language. Reorder triggers and inventory levels are set in the engagement scope.

How do you handle UL, CE, or destination electrical assumptions?

Name the destination markets and any Class 2, UL, CE, or landlord electrical path in the brief. We select modules and drivers against that assumption and document them on the BOM — we do not claim certifications we have not been asked to build to.

Can you ship white-label without Luckyssign branding?

Yes — a significant share of our volume is trade and wholesale. We can omit our branding from crates, drawing covers, and packing lists, and hold approved families so your reorders stay consistent under your brand.
